String Bikini

You’ll have to make a choice of string type bikini, one with a string, one that’s low-rise, a thong, or brazil bottoms. You’re just a click away from an online shop, one day from wearing them, and two days from going to the beach in the most sophisticated string bikini you wish.

Swinging 60′s String Bikini Bottom from Athleta

Very pretty psychedelic design for your string bikini bottom, totally adjustable, made of polyester/spandex, sizes from XXS to XL. They have a top also, of course. A little bit of psychedelics covering your groin is not a bad idea for an afternoon surf party. Of course today we know almost nothing about drugs compared to the 60’s, but I believe good times will be back soon.

Price of swing: $20 less 1 cent. You can surf on the Pacific, in Californian, Hawaii, or an Australian beach, then surf to the party in a shadow, then let him surf around your swinging string bikini. He’ll be delighted. I would be. See you in the Bahamas.

In the Bahamas, or in the Bermuda Triangle. I don’t know why the photo is made in 80s style, but this is the best bikini in this particular shop. Top for $55. Many sizes, many possibilities, nothing is excluded, life continues. The site that sells this item wrote this beside the picture: “Straight from the Hawaiian Islands”. So Hawaii or Bermuda Triangle, I’m a little bit confused. It seems like a site made by a Polish catholic guy or something of this sort. Fully adjustable. String bikini, not Polish guy. Ties at neck and back. String bikini, not your hands. Bottoms available: string, brazil, low-rise. I’ll explain the meaning of brazil in another post.

Jean Paul Gaultier Tattoo String Bikini from Zappos

Jean Paul Gaultier Bikini

Finally I’ve found something nice! If you like to pay for a name brand designer item then the price of JPG string bikini is $300 less 1 dollar. Personally I prefer solid color bikinis, most of the patterns I’ve seen are simply awful, some close to vomit, this looks much better. To write “divinely decorated” as they promote it is an obvious deviation, but stupid copywriters shouldn’t stop us from buying something pretty cool. Triangle top, brazil bottom, made in Italy and if you’re not satisfied with this one you can always return it and look for something more expensive.

Ricky Metallic Gold Bikini from Ralph Lauren

This is really good, isn’t it? Luxury price for this epitome of glamour: $375. I’ll buy it at once, much better than the other ones mentioned in this site. Made of metallic silver (why do they call it gold?!) stretch nylon, extremely elegant and seductive piece of cloth. The ring gives a sensation of exotic challenge. And finally a model with a difference between her hips and waist. The prize for the best string bikini of the post goes to Ralph Lauren.

Los Metallicos Gold Bikini from Promgirl

Gold Bikini

One more metallic string bikini, gold this time. Sexy, itsy bitsy, slick, glamour. Low quality of the photo unfortunately. Price: $67, different sizes, available colors: shine gold or shine red. No returning swimwear at this online shop. All these metallic shining bikinis are more appropriate for really attractive women. I’m afraid it’s a little bit too much for a woman with a regular body. It might look like you think: “I’m a star” but people (men mostly) all around can see you’re not. Just some thoughts of an old guy. If you want to shine only for your boyfriend because you think he doesn’t see anyone on the beach apart from you then you should buy it. But you’re probably wrong.

Serengeti Split Underwire Bikini Top and Serengeti Tunnel Side Bikini Bottom from Swim Spot

Both are sold as separate pieces, the first one for $57, the second one for $45, which gives us $102 to have a complete balck or white bikini, not bad. Of course you can buy almost the same from China or Taiwan for $12 but this top/bottom ensemble has a label “made in California”, so to protect American economy against red dragons one has to spend $90 on a bikini. Do you love America? America needs your damn money, be an American patriot. Nice name of the bikini girl: Serengeti. There’s a nice tool on this bathing suite company’s site: you can put on and take off different bikinis on the model. I don’t know why they couldn’t hire a model with a thinner waist, maybe their art director is blind or a guy. This girl looks like a boy.

Fox Women’s Rich Girl String Bikini Set  from Altrec

The main question about this model is: are you sure you want to be a walking ad for Fox? I would change this word into “now”, “take” or “yours”. I like the idea of two different colors for cups. For a second it makes me thinking. Two parts, she and he in harmony at her breasts. Or maybe question and answer, we remain on your bust. There is something provocative in this two colors. The triangle top has removable pads, which I don’t understand at all. Made of nylon and elastine, low rise bottom with ties. Sizes: S, L, XL; only black/violet color. Price: $84, not so bad.

Leopard print wrap monokini Very Sexy from Victoria Secret

women's swimwear

Victoria Secret Leopard

This one is a monokini, not bikini, but sexy enough to write about this one as well. There’s one thing I don’t get. The line is called: “Very Sexy”, then “r” for copyright is added. Are you, in America, all totally foolish? If your law is so stupid to “reserve” words “very sexy” as a brand name then do what you want but don’t expect a lot of positive feelings from all over the world. Personally I’m not a fan of leopard style clothing, but I’ve chosen this one more for the form itself. I like the ring around the neck, I think there’s something wrong in the back, it should connect with the bottom in another way. Made of nylon and spandex, sizes: XS to L, color of leopard. Price: … no visible price so it has to be damn expensive. And that’s good news.

This Season’s Hottest Tanga and String Bikini Swimsuit Creations

micro bikini

Back g-string

Bye-Bye girly cotton string bikini and hello to retro disco shimmer and sequence; turquoise glitter, gold Lamé, iridescent mesh, and a dash of tribal tiger stripes, faux croc and purple zebra sass! And a big Ola to the Sexiest Brazilian tanga creation direct from Rio de Janeiro!

Butter-Soft Red and Crystal

hot model

Red string bikini

Made from liquid gold, a kind of fabric that’s buttery soft and spreads across and around curves like water. It comes in a bright retro red string bikini design, accented with crystal embellishments. Retro chic for hot models just $49 for the top and $45 for the…ahhh…string bottom, also glistening in all the right places with delicate crystal beads. Where can you buy it? Malibu Strings of course.

Not Your Average Blue String Bikini

It’s retro; you know because it’s made of turquoise sequins. It’s the Malibu Sequin Beach string bikini swimsuit that needn’t ever get wet or be touched by sand. Choose from a regular triangle top or a crystal triangle that has rhinestones (like the red one above), or choose a top that has removable pads, which is sized larger and offers a bit more coverage on top, especially for bustier gals. Tops are priced between $60 and $80; naturally anything with crystal rhinestones is on the higher end. The almost not there string bikini bottoms that accent curves and give a teensy bit of coverage in all the right places, cost between $60 and $85. You can choose a zillion great styles, like:

1. The tiny bikini bottom, which is the classic design most of us think of when talking about strings. These feature a closed triangle that isn’t lined.

2.  The crystal string bikini panty has Czech crystal rhinestones at the top of the string, and rhinestone loops in front. This is a skin tight fit without any lining.

3. The Rio Bottom is more like a front string bikini because it’s a cross between the micro and a more classic full coverage bottom. It has a little more material in the back, but is also without lining and fits the skin like a glove. There’s also a variant called the scrunchie with elastic to accent the but, naturally placed between the cheeks.

4. There’s a string bikini swimsuit bottom that’s the second least sexy design avialable, which is of course why it’s called the Sexy Bottom. It features a curvaceous full coverage micro style and full lining.

5. The last choice is not a string at all, but is a pair of Booty Shorts. Many ladies use this as a cover-up over their strings. But it can be a bottom all on its own. It’s not lined.

Reptilian Designs like Crocodile Beach and Gold Lamé otherwise known as Gold Snake Beach

hot model

Reptilian bikini

V string bikini bottom in the back with crystal jewels or just a classic bottom, it’s your choice when going for a scaly reptilian look that’s actually rather shimmery and smooth because it’s made from a fabric that’s liquid and slickly covers what you want to cover (not a speck more) with iridescent gold and a silver snake print.

If you fancy one of these tops, they’re a lot more affordable than you think. They start at just $35 for the triangle that’s pictured here. String bikinis are not known for their affordability factor, but the Malibu designs are a lot cheaper than most. The styles with crystal are more, of course, but only by about $5. Oh, and if you want you can get a bandeau top for just $39. The Brazilian string bikini bottoms, (consult chart above) can be ordered in all the reptilian fabrics and retro disco styles, too. And in the Croc style….in case you love swimming in the rivers at night…

The crocodile beach

The Crocodile Beach has dark reptile scales that are iridescent, although we’re not sure if they  glow in the dark. Choose from a variety of styles from classic string bottoms or ties to a little more coverage in the strange combo of string bikini briefs. And there’s the bandeau bikini top, also in faux croc.

How about another little item that’s very Malibu – the itsy bitsy Mini Skirt as a cover up….It comes in almost all the fabrics and styles to match your suit!

Clear and Sheer String…you know whats

Speaking about cover-ups and uncovering, that reminds us to show you the iridescent mesh design that is all about uncovering since the fabric is veritably see-through. But, unlike the average sheer string bikini designs that are just transparent, this set is somewhat like the old Ray-ban sunglasses with mirrored lenses…. Do you remember those glasses? Yes, we’re sort of on a retro roll here….Anyway, the iridescent shimmer of the fabric makes the transparency more mysterious because the spectrum of colors changes in the light…. This cheap string bikini costs just $29 and there’s a matching cover-up wrap for just $32.

The Latest Tanga Tiny Bikini Designs

If you want the top Tanga designs, get them from the experts in Brazil.

For example, the makers of the Rio De Sol collections are based in Rio de Janeiro and know how to make the string bikini women love to wear and men love to look at. Why? The Lycra fabric and lining used are not transparent when wet, allowing a woman to cover what she really wants whether wet or dry. And the prices for the sexiest bottoms are reasonable, from about $16 to just over $24.

If you’re reading this and wondering what the difference is between a string bikini and a tanga, there really isn’t any, except that the tanga is famed for having frontal coverage and a dual string in the back, nothing more unless it’s the little triangle that joins the two strings from the sides. Often the designs vary and offer a wider band in the back, sometimes even a sash at the hips. On the other hand there’s a big difference between bikini and tankini.

Rio de Sol

Rio de Sol products can be purchased through the online Brazilian Bikini shop, also in some exclusive boutiques in Côte D’Azur, France, and, if you happen to be in South America, you can visit their showroom at Americo Silva . Loja 12, Av. Barao do Rio Branco, Três Rios, Rio de Janeiro.

Most of the tanga bikinis sold through Rio de Sol are about $23 to $30, and include both pieces. Although the name and style is based on the bottom and not the top, in fact you can wear almost any v string or bandeau and still have a tanga if the back of the bottom is a string between your cheeks and there’s a small triangle at the top, or none at all, but the teeny triangle is a Brazilian classic.
